Taylor Swift – Live from T5 NYC
Last year I was tapped by Anthem Pictures to help shoot a live Taylor Swift concert event at the JetBlue JFK T5 terminal in NYC. Taylor was going to drop in and do a short 5-song set for an intimate group of fans, en-route to the next stop on her Speak Now tour.
I worked with Kenny Jackson of Anthem Pictures to find shooters and build out our camera kits. We knew we wanted the look that a DSLR offered, and the challenge was finding shooters that were good working handheld with these difficult-to-shoot cameras. Ultimately, we were able to create a fantastic crew that really nailed this production, and captured Taylor at her best. I operated a 5D MKII DSLR from the front row. Watch below.
